Re: Can immediate terminate staff after misconduct serious case

We have evidence that a staff download and store many pronograhies movies clips inside company laptop during office hour. At first, management ask her to volunteer resign and paid her 1 month advance salary as per her offer letter. But she refuse and want to continue work,but boss was not want her as she have done a serious misconduct. The question is can we terminate her service immediately with an evidence to support.

I think you better hold a domestic inquiry into the matter first before deciding the type of punishment you want to mete out. Consult the Industrial Relations Department also if you want to.
