Re: Notice period

Fyi, our company policy required staff to give 3 months notice prior to resignation. Just a question regarding a staff who hand in resignation letter on Friday by giving 3 months notice, but the HR said she just need to give one month notice. Is it possible for the staff to ask for the compensation for the other 2 months?

Don't change the notice to one month, stick to the 3 months. Let HR put it in writing if they want to shorten the notice period. Only then you may take action to recover the other 2 months' salary.
