I have a staff(technician) which is employed less than 1 yr, around 9 months. He's still under probational period, not a confirm staff yet, due to his under-performance, but without any warning letters issued whatsoever. The company decided to terminate him end of Dec2009, but will pay him extra compasionate salary until Jan2010, he has to work only until Dec2009. Unfortunately, the staff was not satisfied, he refused to write a resignation letter, he wants to report to labour department.
What can I do to resolve the matter, without complicated issue with the labour department?
