Re: transfer employee

when transfer an employee to other department / associate companies / position, what employer need take into account in terms of :

a) basic salary - not allowed to reduce?
b) terms and conditions - most remain unchanged but could change some of them like working hours?
c) or transfer employee at the sole discretion of the company and not to be dispute by employee?
