I had tendered my resignation letter on 26 August 2009 and served for 2 mths notice period, and be informed by my ex-employer, my last working day will on 24 October 2009 (for your information, the company is 5 days work). However i still have 6 days annual leave, after off-set with my annual my last working day will on 15 October 2009. May i know the correct way (according to labour law) to calculate the my salary for October 2009.
However, according to what my ex-employer tell me is based on the labour law, '16days will devided by 31days and 5days annual leave will devided by 26days'. It is have any labour law to stated that? Because it is inconsistant in calculation way.
Please advice on the abovemention matters.
