Re: LABOR ACT

I AM QUITE NEW TO THE HR AND LABOR ACT.

FROM THE CONTENT, IT SEEMS THE M'SIA LABOR ACTS IS VERY PROTECTING THE EMPLOYEE AND UNFAIR TO THE EMPLOYER. THE ACTS ARE MORE STAND ON THE EMPLOYEE SIDE, LOTS OF ACTIONS ARE BAND TO BE TAKING BY EMPLOYER SHOULD THEY DISCOVER THE EMPLOYEE UNABLE TO PERFORM, ATTENDANCE PROBLEM, LAZY AND ETC BAD WORKING ATTITUDES WHICH FINALLY LEAD TO THE LOSS FOR THE COMPANY.

MEANING A COMPANY HAS TO BEAR A VERY HIGH RISK FOR RECRUITING NEW STAFF, AND HARD TO TERMINATE THE EXISTING CONFIRM/NON CONFIRM STAFF. THE COMPANY WILL END UP WITH PAYING SALARY FOR THOSE UNDER PERFORM STAFF. I WOULD SAY UNFAIR.

AGREE?

That was the reason why the company brought you in - to correct all those problems so that there will be less encounters with the what you called unfair labour laws.

the funny thing is..how many company will actually go according to labour law 100% ? don tell me ur company does...cos most company doesnt..
public holiday double/triple pay...they can replace with jus ONE annual leave holiday...is this fair to employee ?
the company doesnt hav to bear a risk for recruiting..if they hav a good HR team..agree ??

THE COMPANY IS LUCKY IF THERE IS NO ONE OF THE EMPLOYEE TAKE ALL THE LABOR ACTS SERIOUSLY.

IN MY OPINION, RISK OF RECRUITING IS IS STILL THERE. HARD TO REALLY JUDGE THE CANDIDATE JUST FROM THE FEW INTERVIEWS.

SOME STAFF EVEN CHANGE THEIR WORKING ATTITUDE AFETR GET CONFIRMED. LOTS OF ISSUES ARE UNPREDICTABLE.

ah son,

i think u do not have the experience of dealing with stubborn staffs. they will not change the working attitude althought warning had been issued to them.

they are too smart to play around with their employee's right. not easy to handle....
