Re: ANNUAL LEAVE

Please advice.

This coming Hari Raya, my company imposed on 5 days holiday ( 9/21 - 9/25) but on the 24th and 25th is considered an annual leave because the office is not operating even though i want to work on that day. Is it legal to do such thing?

In our multi-racial society, there are a few major festival Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali. Just let us enjoy them. I have been asked this question many many times in this forum and I invariably told them to follow the majority. If the majority of the staff has no problem with the arrangement, just follow. Go and have a nice holiday with the family and friends.
