Re: leave replacement

my company is on 5 working days basis. what is the standard leave replacement if the employee is required to work on the following days:

1. Saturday
2. Sunday
3. Public Holiday

p/s: my company does not practise paying OT (money) to the employee for working on the mentioned days. we will be getting the leave replacement only.

Under the EA, there is no mention about replacement for working on rest days or public holiday. Work and you pay unless the employees agree to replacement.

if i were to pay, is it based on the following rate?

1. saturday - 1.0
2. sunday - 2.0
3. Public Holiday - 3.0

No, for monthly rated workers, it is

1. saturday - 1.0
2. sunday - 1.0
3. Public Holiday - 2.0
