Re: Temp Staff for 3 Months

Hi,

Appreciate if you could kindly advise me on below.

My company has recently employed a general worker for period of 3 months. May I know are they entitle for below? (Their salary is RM 750/ month)

1) Annual Leave, how many day if he/ she is entitled for?
2) Sick Leave, how many day if he/ she is entitled for?
3) Medical claim
4) SOCSO
5) M'sia Public Holiday
6) Is there a minimum period of employment in order to call them as "Contract Staff"?

1) to 3) No AL, ML, Medical claim unless agreed upon by the employer and employee.
4) Yes.
5) Compulsory: (a) the National Day;
(b) the Birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong;
(c) the Birthday of the Ruler or the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, as the case may be, of the State in which the employee wholly or mainly works under his contract of service, or the Federal Territory Day, if the employee wholly or mainly works in the Federal Territory; and
(d) the Workers' Day:
6) 1 Month.
