Re: any entitlement of day off?

I work 6 days week & get 1 day off (DO). If I am on 5 days MC, can I still be entitled a DO for that week? Or if I MC for 3 days , do I still get my DO? Please advice. Thank you.

Which day of the week is your day off? Does any of the MC fall on the day off?

I work shift duties. Day off can be any day pending the duty roster. If MC falls on my Day off so how? Can I get a replacement of my day off later? Or is it burned?
What if my day off is on Saturday, and I was on MC from Mon-Thurs? Can I still continue to take my day off? Is my superior have the right to take away my day off? She said I have to work at least 4 working days in order for me to be entitled to a day off.
Is it correct/true?
Please, need your advice.
Thank you.

According to the proviso of Section 59 Rest Day of the Employment Act, it looks like you are not entitled to replacement of rest days because it says "...this subsection shall not apply during the period in which the employee is on maternity leave as provided under section 37, or on sick leave....". As for other scheduled rest days, I think you are entitled to take as long as the days don't fall on sick leave. I don't know about "..have to work at least 4 working.....". You may have to consult the Labour Office.

"Provided that this subsection shall not apply during the period in which the employee is on maternity leave as provided under section 37, or on sick leave as provided under section 60F, or during the period of temporary disablement under the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1952, or under the Employees Social Security Act, 1969.
