Just would like to check, let say if a staff suspected with H1N1 and required to be quaranteen, does he/she consider on medical leave? do company have to pay them or consider as unpaid leave.

Is there any statement was released by Human Resource Ministry pertaining to this or is the any website i could refer to ?

The Malaysian Employers Federation said that paid leave would only be given to people who are quarantined after returning on work-related trips from an affected countries. Those who are quarantined after returning from leisure trips would have to use their annual leave or have their pay deducted.
