Re: Resigning

I have been working for a company for 2 weeks now and since its end of month they are about to release my pay. But the funny thing is i still havent sign or seen my letter of offer.

My questions is if i were to resign how short a notice can i give them as i understand under labour laws is 24 hours, and do they have the right not to release my pay?

Ask them what is the notice period for resignation. If it is 24 hours, fine. According to the Employment ACT, when there no such agreement in writing, the notice period for termination of service is 4 weeks.
