We are a small factory that involves in sorting materials that do not requires specific skills. Currently we are getting our workers (indonesian) from an agency. We pay direct to the agency and all salary matters shall be between employees and agency.
However, our working time is 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday. Rest periods are 1.5hours per day spread out to 4 times a day.
I have asked about the "legality" of this working hours and according to the agency it is above the law. Is it true?
Secondly, the workers are also required to work on company approved public holidays. We are willing to pay the wages accordingly (3 times), but were advised by the agency that it is not neccesary. Can someone help me to elightened on this issue.

The site is in the process of being fine-tuned but it is fully functional. You are invited to visit the website at http://www.mylabourlaw.net and give your views or suggestions.
