Re: Resignation Rejected

Hi,

I work in a law firm as a secretary, recently I just tender my resignation letter to my boss. Somehow he doesn't accept my resignation, and his friend, mentioned that there is a law that indicate the employer has the right to reject an employee's resignation. I am worried that he will use any law enforcement against me, as he is a lawyer, but Is it true? because I think I it doesn't make any sense

Thanks

As long as you have given proper notice, he cannot hold you back.
