If you give 24 hours notice, then you have to pay indemnity. If the agreed notice period is one month, you have to pay 1 month salary, if the notice period is 3 months, you have to pay 3 months salary as indemnity.

If you don't come to work for 3 days without any reason, you are deemed to have terminated your own service without notice. The company need not terminate your service, you have done it yourself.
