Re: If your salary higher then RM3K as was being hold

I was searching the Employment Act 1955 which only stated for those payroll under RM1,500. How would it applicable if you having higher pay as a manager?

1)If a company was to hold your pay when you are a managerial position, would it apply on the 'within 7 days payment'?
2)Company holding salary without valid or solid reason, which act should be use to encounter this issue? Any solution if the company was to hold your salary?

By 'holding salary', do you mean paying your salary late? Under Section 69B of the Employment Act, you still can make a claim against the company as long as your salary is not over 5000.

Yes, the company scenario is as such. Due to investment company, there is some payment dispute. Company hold the pay by mentioning ' if you do not settle the dispute, your pay will be hold'

So what shouo if the pay was being hold?

If they don't pay, you complain, that's about it.
