I tendered my resignation letter last month on 5/6/2008 with 1 month notice. So my last day of work was 4/7/2008. On my last day of work, my supervisor had already checked my library record and it was cleared (means I returned everything I borrowed from the company library). I also let my supervisor check on the leaving list to make sure I didn't take any company's property and had returned everything to the company.
Well, my issue arise as my boss doesnt want to sign my pay cheque (yea what a lame company that doesnt wan to bank in salary coz they wan to save that cost). His reason is that he wants to make sure I return all the library book.. Holding back pay cheque do not only happen to me, in fact most of the staff who resigned face this problem.
Can you advice me on what should I do? I cant just sit here n wait for the pay cheque. My ex colleague waited more than 1 more to get their pay cheuque.
