Question: Did the Company need to pay the EPF,Socso & Tax for the 20 days short notice that the employee has pay back? How about annual leave entitlement? Does it calculate up to the 20 days short notice period or the last day of services.
Have employee salary range below 1.5k and above 3k? Any different?
As for EPF, SOCSO and Tax, I am afraid you will have to ask the respective organisations.
As far as I know, the short notice period in which salary in lieu of notice is paid, is taken into consideration for assessing entitlement for maternity benefit only. There is nothing in the EA for about his for assessing annual leave entitlement. You may consult the Labour Department about the point raised by you.
