Re: Resignation & Replacement leave calculation.

Dear Sir,
I am Production Manager, have tendered my resignation which requires 3 moths notice.I have tendered my resignation on 16th.June and supposing my last day should be 16th.Sept. However , I still have 62 days of replacement leave and annual leave.

a) I would like to leave early, by 16th.Aug, do I need to count only the working days or include Saturday & Sunday ?
b) Will I be paid in full including my allowance during 16th.Aug to 16th.Sept?
c) How to calculate my balance annual leave to cash? My salary is about $4000.

a) When you apply for the leave to leave earlier, you specify that Saturdays and Sundays are excluded. Let your management to approve it. If there is a dispute, you refer it to the Industrial Relations Department.

b) If approved, your get you should get your full salary including allowance.

c) Although you are not covered by the Employment Act, if you use it as a guide, the calculation of leave per day should be (Salary/26)

Thank you for your information.
a) I have got job that requires me to join on 1st.Sept, however my present company's last day is 16th Sept.My HR informed me that I can't be employeed in two places in one time.In this case, can i apply leave ?

b) My Basic Salary $4k & allowance $1.5k, if my balance replacement leave is 26 days. how do i calculate my rate/day
