Re: No acceptance letter of resignation from employer

I have tendered my resignation on 9th May, for a notice of 1 month instead of 3 months as required.

I have stated for a request for early release in the resignation letter, but until today, i have not receive any acceptance letter from the employer. I have 2 days annual leave to offset the notice period. Which mean, Thursday will be my last day of work.

What could i do if they still do not give me the letter? Could i go ahead with the resignation, not going for work anymore starting Thursday?

How could i ensure that they could not file against me with the labour dept since they have not given me any notice?

Please advise.

Why not go and find from your HR? You can go ahead and resign with one month notice but bear in mind that they can claim 2 months salary from you for the 2 months short notice
