one of my staff who just confirmed this month after 3 months probation went on a lot of absent leave during probation and this month for 6 times, does my company deduct as unpaid leave or give a warning letter which they think is too lenient.
Pls advise.

Of course he will not be paid when absent without leave. You give warning letter and there is no improvement, take disciplinary action against him.
