I have resign from my company on the 24th of april and my company policy is a two month notice from my date of resignation which i have to serve the company till 24th of june. but i have a new job which start on the 1st june. i have talk to my new employer about the situation but they said that they cant wait for another month. i am planning to serve my this company till 31th may and leave after that. i have asked some of my friend what can i do. they said i just have to paid the other one month to my company. is it so??

You can discuss with your old company whether they agree to give you an early release. If they don't agree, you will have to pay 24 days salary for the 24 days of short notice. They cannot stop you from leaving, can they? Consult the Labou Department if you are still doubtful.
