im a geologist who working with a company in malaysia. but i always work outstation (overseas) because my company invest in the foreign country. my problem is, i always sent to the foreign country to work. when im overseas, i have no proper rest time or holidays. u can assume i work for 2 - 4 weeks sometimes without having proper rest. when im overseas, i work8-0 hours perday and 7 days a week! and no proper n clear allowence. my question is, should the company pay allowence and extra pay when im working on sunday and public holiday based on malaysian law? tq

A geologist is surely not covered under the Employment Act and as such I am not aware of any other law relevant to the questions raised by you. Such matters should be covered under your contract of service with the company. Bring them up to the HR department of your company in case of any doubt.
