Good day to u
a. Could the company dismiss a worker within 24 hour after giving him a warning letter ?
b. Do comany had to give transportation allowance to site worker if he is transfer from one site to another as journey between one site to another is far ?
c. Could company give warning letter to worker if he refuse to accept transfer on his working enviroment ?
d. Could company penalized a worker for his mis-conduct by not allowing his to work for some period of time and within the penalized period he is not paid.
e. Could company deduct a worker salary for the day if the worker is found not doing his job and company order him to leave for that day ?

a. Yes if the offence is serious but the worker has the right to complain;
b. It is up to the company;
c. Yes, it can;
d. Yes, under Section 14 of the Employment Act;

"14. Termination of contract for special reasons.

(1) An employer may, on the grounds of misconduct inconsistent with the fulfilment of the express or implied conditions of his service, after due inquiry:

(a) dismiss without notice the employee; or

(b) downgrade the employee; or

(c ) impose any other lesser punishment as he deems just and fit, and where a punishment of suspension without wages is imposed, it shall not exceed a period of two weeks..."

e. I don't think so. The company should use other types of punishment.
