Re: Work On MC

I would like to have some reference. Is there any case you can point me to where an employee was asked to work when on MC. Appreciate if I can have an article on this

If that employee came to work even on medical leave, the MC should be cancelled as if sick leave not taken. When a person is certified sick, he has the right not to come to work.

If the person coms to work on his/her own accord I understand. But what happens when the management forces him/her to come to owrk?

How the management is going to force him, come to his house and drag him to office?

Client is insisting for us to not recognise MC. They say that we can impose that they go back to work. So the management is asking me to check if they can do such thing.

I am not sure of the "not recognise MC" part of it. What wrong with the MC? I think you better consult the Labour Department before you give advice to your client.

Sorry about the late response, I missed it.
