Re: Notice of resignation

I have submitted my resignation letter to my company on 1st of february.
As required by the terms of my employment contract, I am serving TWO (2) weeks notice.
As such, my last day of employment will be 12th February 2010. This is what written in
my resignation letter. Now, my company say they donít have to pay me 14 days because
in my letter i written last day is 12th february so they can just pay me for 12 days
according to Malaysian labour law. Is this true? The 2 weeks notice are including
weekends and my company is 5 working days per week. so company should pay
me 12 or 14 days?

Your notice was short of 2 days for which you have to pay 2 days salary as indemnity. In fact the company can deduct another two days salary from the 12 days' which means you will get only 10 days' salary. Quickly accept it if they agreed to pay you 12 days' salary.

Im have accumulate 52days annual leaves and if im resign, need to serve 2 months notices. Office working days is 5 days work. So is that mean once i submit resignation letter, immediately I can leave office and employer would pay my 2 months 52 annual leaves?

I work in a law firm. I have submitted my resignation letter to my company's partner one moth ago. As the company rules, I need to serve TWO (2) month (60days) notice, so my last day will be 18/4/13.
Now, the company's partner told me that he didn't receive my resign letter, so he didn't inform all the partner in the firm. What should i do? I did send him the letter personally.
Can you tell me did i need to inform all the partner in the firm about my resignation? if i send my resign letter to all of the partner now, can i still leaving the company after end of the notice?
