Re: Company shortened notice period.

The offer letter stated that notice for resignation to be 2 months and I submitted my resignation with 2 months notice. Then the company told me the notice could be shortened to one month. I don't agree. What should I do if the company said I could go after one month?

You should be allowed to work out the 2 months notice or if they choose to shorten it, they should pay you one month salary in lieu. You can make a complaint at the Labour Department if they fail to do so.
