Re: How to calculate paid annual leave if i entered the company in the half way?

I've been entered this company on March 2009,my annual leave is 8 days.

I have to calculate it by prorating it. The days i get is 6.666666. So means that I have 6.5 days or leave or 7 days?

If is 7 days, where can i get such articles to support it. My boss always ask for supporting from the labour law,but i cant get this kind of example from the labour law. anyone can help me?

Thank you.

If your company agrees to give you prorated annual leave, the calculation with be (8 days/12) x number of completed months of service. By law, you are not yet entitled to annual leave until you have completed 12 months of service. Read up Section 60E of the Employment Act Annual Leave
