Re: termination with salary in lieu

Hi... pls answer me the question ASAP. Thanks

My co would like to terminate a staff by compensate 1 month salary in lieu, but the staff do not sign the termination letter as agreed to the letter.

My question is the staff have a right to agree the termination letter or not? and if she sue us by labor law that descripted we are unreasonable to terminate her, as the case, our action is it against labor law? but we have compensate one month salary...

It doesn't mean that by paying month salary in lieu the staff cannot complain. The staff still can complain about wrongful dismissal by the employer.
