Re: termination by lay-off

My company would like to terminate a staff because release the whole dept, i want to know is the staff is entitled to lay-off benefit or not? The staff still under probation period.

If he has not completed 12 months continuous service, he is not entitled to termination and layoff benefits.

What benefits for this worker?
If he already service for 1 year in this company and the company is giving him 1 month notice.
Does the company need to pay him extra 1 month salary and give him back the his annual leave?
