Re: Regarding working ot & public holiday!

I'm working in a retail outlet in sarawak, working for 11 hours everyday. My salary is RM550 but i dont have any ot paid and also during public day i work, but they isnt any double pay or triple pay. Is it can take any action to do complain at the labour department. What kind of action i can do? And also regarding my anual leaves, i have entitle to have 7 days anual leaves, but i need to deduct Rm30 from my salary, same to sick leaves. And how about the epf contribution? I have sales comission. Is it should be my gross salary deduct 11 percents? My employer is it against the labour law? Can anyone give me an idea or suggestion?

Your employer is definitely not following the labour laws. You should make complaints to the Labour Department in your area. As for EPF you report to the EPF authority.

Thank you for the advice. I've been thinking bout making complaints to the authority, but i'm resigning soon. Cause of the unfair to the employee. Is it i make complaints to the labour department they will take action to the employer?

If you make specific complaint like number of days of annual leave not give, working on public holidays not pay, sick leave not paid and so on, they will take action. You must go to the departments concerned personally to make the claim.
