I'm on behalf of my friend.
My friend inform the employee to resign on 13/April/2007, that is 24hours notice. But the employee request him work till end of 30th April. I believe that, if he resign on 13 of April, here do not deserve any salary, right ? But let say the employee request to work till end of the month, should the employee pay for full month salary ? By the way, the employee also delay the payment. this is end up the employee do not pay for salary for 2 months, what should my friend do ? i have no idea.

Please advise your friend to make a complaint at the Labour Department. The Labour Department will be able to help.
