I have a staff that always absent working and din't answer our call when we call him, and we just warned by verbal only. Until 23rd July 2008, he just sms my colleague inform that he taken mc (but din't said when to when) and he also din't answer our call whatever we called so many time. Untill this morning he come to work, we do not give him to sign attendance because he absent more than 2 days and that's means he broken the service contract. However he shown a medical certificate that descripted 3 days medical leave (started from 23rd to 25th).
The question is whether our company have a right to terminate the staff?
