Re: Accumulated annual leave
I have been working wth this company for about 3 years plus, recently i tendered my resignation by giving them more than one month notice and beside that i have about 11 days annual leave which was accumulated from previous years and plus around 3 days for year 2008. In my recent annual leave application form my annual leave still show the accumulated days and was signed by the director to approve my annual leave. In such case for above, the company should pay to me my last month salary and the accumulated annual leaves since the company did not mention to me that i should clear my annual from when and when. ( The company policy also does not mention about this) And my concern is if the company tells me that company policy allowed the employees claim the annual leave up to may be 7 days only. I want to know can the employer do such thing to their employees, and i don't see such act the the labout law. Could you advise me? Thank you.
