Have all those matters been implimented? If so, I don't they are correct. You have to bring the matter to the attention of the Labour Department.

I am working as a mechanic, my employer offered me with basic salary RM1800.
I work from Monday until half of Saturday. For year 2007, my employer paid my overtime with 1.5 times of hourly rate of pay on normal days work. The basis of working day per month would be 26 day.
Unfortunately, started March 2008, my employer set that the basis of days work per month became 31 days. It had reduced my overtime rate.

I would like to know for the following queries:
1. Is that I am being cover under Employment Act 1955?
2. Is that the rights for the employer to amend the daily salary to worker, although I am not under EA 1955?
3. I was signed for the appointment letter when I was join in, but due to the appointment letter there is no any articles to mention about the working days per month.

Yours advise is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
