Dear Sir,

Thank you for your advice. But my current office director ask me to sent in a 2nd reminder to my ex-employer. Should i?

Will i cause any problem to my self or my current employer if i file a report at labour department? My salary is above RM 1.500.00 i should refer to the I.R or labour office?

You can send a reminder to remind them to pay you by certain date and tell them if they fail to do so you will file a claim at the Labour Department.

If your salary is below RM5000, you may still file a claim at the Labour Department.

Juz now i just received an email from the Hr deparment.

Here is what is wrintten:

"Dear Felicia,

This is to inform you that your salary can not be released because the payroll department still pending advise from the management.

Kindly refer to the management should you have any queries/doubt.


Best Rgds,

Ca.......
Payroll Department"

Wat should i reply them? Can i juz write in the same remimder letter that i given to them before.

Write to Management together with a copy of the email from Candy and tell the management to look into the matter. Tell them politely to pay you soon as "you are having financial problem without the money" . Forward a copy of your letter, email whatever to Candy also . Wait and see.

Sir,

Thank for your advice, i had write in a reminder letter to my ex-employer, now i just got to wait and see.

By the way, i got some quries.

1)Normally in my case what is the conclusion if the case been brought up to the labour department?

2)Does my ex-employer has the rights to on hold my salary for my unfinish job as u what said?

Just make a complaint there if you have to but I cannot tell what will happpen, let the Labour Department decide

I go an reply e-mail from one of the director whos normally prepare the staff monthly salary. Which stated: -

"Dear Felicia,

Neither the management nor the Payroll Department have never any intention to hold your salary further.
Kindly arrange with Ms. Candy to have a smooth handover.

What can i do now? My 2nd reminder that i fax over to them yesterday stated my salary should be release in this few days.

Since i leave that office i & candy do sms each other afterwork coz i m always worrying whether she is able to cope up with the a/c. Regards the letter that she e-mail to me, she said she don't know about it and she can help me. Candy is working as part time with my ex-employer,she is suppose to be at the office every saturday to take over the a/c's duties,but she is always tie up with her current job.

Sir, what is my next move?

When it comes to accounts, one person may not know what the other person has been doing. That person who takes over may be groping in the dark. As a gesture of goodwill you should at least tell Ms C... where to look for and what to look for. We should always try to leave a company with goodwill. So arrange to meet Ms C one day to sort out the problem and get her to sign for the things she has taken over from you.

I m willing to cooperate with Ms C but she is always busy, i did leave her a note during my last day,to follow up what is leave over,but she did not attend to it. i ask her many times is there any problem with the account, she just said she is busy,she don't know.

30th September is their financial closing. i had key in wat ever info i have only the depreciation part and some sept'07 overhead data is not done yet. i don't have approver for the depreciation and payroll is not done by me. Is actualy 95% completed and i don't seems there will be a problem for someone who have experience on accounting to under take the tasks.
Like my current job, the account leave the company withoust passing down any unfinish job or info to me, the data of the company accounts is in a huge mess,but i am still able to manage it.

At this monments i can't go back to that office to settle their problem as my current job is a compatitor to that company,plus i don't want to get humiliate by them,enough is enough i had been suffer during my notice,i just can't stand it.

Sir, i just don't know how to do, all i want is to get back my salary, i don't want to havoc things,i just want to settle the problem,is unfair to me as i had serve my service to the company but i am not being paid for it.

What should i do? Give them a 3rd reminder? or go direct to the labour office?

Since you said you have done everything possible, then the proper thing to do is to lodge a complaint at the Labour Office. Don't wait anymore.
