Ask them about this also if you are going to the Labour Department about the other complaint you mentioned earlier. It really does not matter whether you are comfirmed or not confirmed as long as you get all your benefits such as leave and medical leave and so on. You still enjoy the protection of the labour law even you are not confirmed.

Just want to clarify about the notice of termination. In my offer letter, it was mentioned that my probation period is 6 months, upon completion of probation period, I will be given a confirmation letter. Another clause is during probation, either party can terminate by giving 24 hrs notice during probation. If staff have been confirmed the notice period required is 2 months.

But up to now (almost 10 months), I have yet to received my confirmation letter. They gave me an increment in Jan'08 and prorated bonus. This bonus was given half in Jan'08 & the balance in April provided I still with the company.

My question is, without the confirmation letter, can I give them 24hrs notice?

Please help.

Thank you.
